Dalal: TALAL WAIT
--
Talal turned around, surprised that Dalal made the first move.
Talal: 3youna *he whispered.
Dalal: Haa?
Talal: Halla?
Dalal: Talal I MISS YOU. Ya5e int mu fahmni!! ana a7bk!! a7bk, not just as a best-friend!! You're everything to me. And the REAL reason to not wanting you in my life anymore is I know you're not going to be mine!!! Bas what you're doing!!! I can see it in your eyes that you haven't slept in days. DON'T DO THAT TO YOURSELF. In this, I AM SELFISH. I can't take the pain of knowing you'll never be mine!! So I cut you from my life, bas what you're doing to yourself, it's breaking my heart Talal, it's breaking my heart..
I was running out of breath. I was nervous and scared. How the hell did I just say this? I don't even admit this to myself when I speak to myself alone!
Talal looked, not even describable! I think he was even more surprised than me. He opened his mouth, ready to say something, but he said nothing.

Talal's point of view
And they ask me why I love this girl.. Well, I ask myself that! But really, this is the reason. She kept on surprising me every time we talked. I saw a side of her I've never seen before, I mean sure she tells me everything but really, she has never told me about a crush or love or anything. She doesn't even bring it up to herself! I know that for fact because I've over-heard her speaking to herself before!
But that just wasn't it, I was flowing with happiness. She made it so much easier for me, I don't have to make the first move. I want to pull her in and never let her go. But when I opened my mouth to tell her how much I love her, and how I've loved her since she helped me out that first day we met. But nothing came out. I was frozen. My brain was probably still processing this. But NO! This is not the time to be super surprised!!! She might take it wrongly..
SPEAK TALAL, SPEAK.

Dalal's point of view
I don't know why, I was disappointed. They say to not expect, but I couldn't help but expect this might have a fairytale ending. But no, he didn't say a thing. He didn't love me back, and now, I've lost him for good. He knows the true selfish person I am.
God dammit! I shouldn't let my self esteem get the best of me. Leave with dignity Dalal!
So I turned around, still stunned but trying to keep a head up. I got into my car, and left. Left Talal standing there. Alone.

When I got back to Jumeirah the first thing I did was rent an apartment, it was ready furnished so I wouldn't have to do that myself. I rented only for a month, hoping I could afford something better by then. I took the keys from the first day and stayed in for the next 2 days, the only time I went out was when I was starving and needed some food.
After two days of grief, I finally got off my lazy butt and went to the gallery. It looked owned by a very wealthy man, the marble floors were spotless, each wall was painted a different color depending on the color of the paintings and frames! It was beyond gorgeous, and breath taking. I asked to see the manager *Ahmed Al Flani* and I was escorted to his office.
Ahmed Al Flani was handsome, he looked like he was about 23. He was tanned, with light brown eyes and messy medium brown hair. He wasn't buff at all, looked from the outside to probably have a 2 pack, which wasn't bad for some guys bodies.
Ahmed Al Flani: Salalm 3alaikum!
Dalal: Wa3alaikum el salam!
We shook hands and sat down, there was an awkward silence for a few minutes. Ahmed was eyeing me strangely, I couldn't tell if why. He looked like he was analyzing my features. Suddenly, he broke the silence and asked a question that startled and confused me.
Ahmed: Ma 3arfteeni Dalal?
I couldn't let him walk away, so instead of him always securing me, loving me and caring for me. I made sure to take a risk and not leave him like this..
